Web development for London businesses that needs to work as well as it looks
Booking tools, customer portals, integrations with the software you already pay for, a site that loads quickly. When the requirement is more than a brochure, you need the person writing the code to also understand the business.
Web development for businesses with a real requirement
A site that has to do a job, take bookings, handle payments, connect to a CRM, serve logged-in customers, needs to be scoped and built, not assembled from whatever plugins were to hand.
Custom builds and integrations
Booking and quoting tools, customer areas, API connections to your CRM, accounts or stock system, written to fit your process rather than bending it.
Performance and reliability
Fast pages, clean markup, sensible hosting and monitored updates, so the site stays quick and stays up.
Rebuilds of tired or broken sites
I audit an existing build, keep what is sound and replace what is not, with content and search rankings moved across carefully.
Accountable from scope to support
One developer scopes it, writes it, launches it and looks after it afterwards. Nobody to chase when something needs to change.
From requirement to a build that holds up
Scope
What the site must do, who uses it, what it connects to. Written down before any code, with what is in and out of scope.
Architecture
What is a plugin, what is custom code, what talks to what, and how it will be maintained.
Build and test
Written for the job and tested against real content, devices and edge cases, not a demo dataset.
Launch and support
Shipped with a rollback plan, then kept updated, backed up and fast. Most relationships outlast the build.
FAQ
Do you work with London businesses in person?
I am based in Hertfordshire, close to London. I can meet in person where it helps, and run most of the project over calls and shared screens.
What is the difference between web design and web development?
Design decides how the site looks and what visitors do. Development makes it work: the code, the integrations, the speed and the security. I do both, so the two never contradict each other.
Can you connect the website to our existing systems?
Often yes, if the other system has an API or a supported integration. I check this at the scoping stage and tell you what is realistic before you commit.
Do you only use WordPress?
Most of my work is WordPress because it suits most businesses and is easy to hand over. If a different approach is a better fit for the requirement, I will say so.
Tell me what's broken, or what you're starting.
One email or a fifteen-minute call. I read and reply to every one myself.
